Peace: Body, Mind and Spirit

What is “peace” to you? On a grand scale, perhaps peace looks like a lack of war, or famine or struggle. For some, “peace” might be having the circumstances around you fall into place, or the people in your life getting along (for once). Maybe it’s more simple than that is just the way you find your own, personal calm amid the storm. Whatever “peace” means to you- do you have it? If not, why?

peace9.jpgMaybe you’ve defined it incorrectly? Let’s explore that. It’s important that, if you’re looking for something (like peace) in your life, that you understand what it is you’re looking for, so that you know when you’ve found it.

I know, for me, peace is an inner sensation, not an outside one (although external peace is lovely too!) – and if you’re anything like me, you struggle with your inner peace at times, especially when life gets real. That being said- you’re welcome to walk with me on the path the Lord is leading me, to understand and reconnect with Peace – body, mind and spirit.

DoTERRA has an essential oil blend actually called “Peace”, which is one of my all time favorite blends- and one of my most used. To me, it smells like a beautiful chocolate, with a hint of mint and a very subtle, distant note of vanilla. I LOVE it.

Here’s how I use it: First, once I pinpoint that it’s my inner peace I’m struggling with, I stop and take a deep breath, and reconnect with the composed, collected “me”. I use doTERRA’s Peace Touch Reassuring Blend to promote feelings of contentment, composure, and reassurance when anxious feelings overwhelm me. peace4

  1. Place a drop into palms of hands and rub on the back of neck, over the heart, on your temples and bottoms of the feet.
  2. Take another drop into palms and inhale deeply- probably 10 times. As I do this, I meditate on spiritually uplifting concepts.

Philippians 4:8-9 tells us, “Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.”

Peace3-1.pngSo, for example, I Google “Scriptures about peace” and I say things like:

  • Psalm 29:11, “The Lord gives [me] His strength. The Lord blesses [me] with peace.”
  • Isaiah 43:2-3, “Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are Mine. When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the Lord, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.”

When feelings of fear and anxiousness creep into our minds, we seek for peace and reassurance from many sources- but the one, true source is the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ.  Though it can be difficult to remain calm and composed in our hectic, unpredictable world, doTERRA Peace Reassuring Blend provides an escape from discontent and worry and it’s a great tool for helping you focus your mind and attention on the peace, not the storm.

Great for:

  • Kids at night- layer on bottoms of feet along with Lavender
  • Times of grief or pain- inhale and rub over heart and onto temples as often as needed
  • Anxiousness- Diffuse or inhale directly, stop and think calming thoughts, recite a prayer or speak positive words
  • Before a test or job interview or an upcoming difficult conversation- Rub onto temples, wrists and other pressure points
  • At bedtime- Bottoms of feet and back of neck. Layer with Serenity, Vetiver and/or Lavender

Scientists and psychologists have spent centuries trying to understand the phenomena we refer to as emotions. Although science can not yet definitively explain the exact mechanisms, we do know that emotions have vast influence on well-being. Employing the most current research and the purest essential oils, the new doTERRA Emotional Aromatherapy blends are unique volatile aromatic compounds that address the emotions that so greatly influence your health.
Peace7-1.png
doTERRA’s Peace Reassuring Blend is a fusion of floral and mint essential oils. The amalgamation of popular essential oils such as Lavender and Spearmint, along with the essence of some lesser-known plants such as Labdanum creates a chemical profile rich in monoterpene esters and alcohols for a renewing and toning experience.
peace2How essential oils influence emotions through their aroma is a fascinatingly complex process. It wasn’t until the early 1990s, with a Nobel prize winning study by Linda Buck and Richard Axel, that biologists began to understand the chemical sensors responsible for the remarkable effects of scent. Recently, olfactory sensors were discovered to be present not only in our nose, but also in  our skin, a discovery that has a multitude of implications for the future of aromatherapy research and essential oil use. Scent is an amazingly powerful tool that we can use to influence our lives in a multitude of ways.
So, biologically speaking, the literal smell of Peace will help you regain your composure, calm your racing heart and mind, refocus your attention and help you begin to address what is causing such a lack of peace in your life right now.
spiritlong
So, have you thought about how YOU define peace? The best definition of real, actual peace is found in the Bible.
In the Old Testament, the word “Shalom” is the Hebrew word for “peace” and it means, “completeness, soundness, welfare, peace in human relationships and with God especially in covenant relationship.” (Strongs)
peace5.jpgThis is seen in this example of Isaiah 9:6, “For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on His shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
In the New Testament, the word “peace” is a Greek word meaning, “peace between individuals, i.e. harmony, concord; the way that leads to peace (salvation); in Christianity, the tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and content with its earthly lot, of whatsoever sort that is.” (Strongs)
This can be seen in Colossians 3:15: “And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts…”
The Bible defines “peace” as being tranquility among mankind with each other, mankind with God, an assurance of salvation in the soul and fearing nothing that the world can bring at you. THAT is true peace.
If you’re looking for peace in your life (aren’t we all?!) – know what you’re looking for and then, go after it. How? How, in a crazy and sometimes horrible world can we find true peace, amid all the ruckus, hate, bad choices and more?
You get yourself right with the Prince of Peace and then YOU. MAKE. PEACE.
Peacemakers are blessed, the Bible promises that in Matthew 5.
It starts IN you, and it emanates FROM you and extends BEYOND you.
Don’t look for perfection, look for Peace.
peace8.jpgIn Luke 2, when the angels said “Peace on earth, goodwill toward men”- they were NOT talking about stuff like world peace. They were foretelling of what the birth of the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ, would accomplish. His death would bridge the gap that sin created- thereby bringing PEACE on earth, and God’s goodwill toward sinful mankind- because of Jesus.
You start THERE.
Jesus IS Peace. You MAKE PEACE.
I love you! Be blessed, friends!

Myrrh: Body, Mind and Spirit

It’s only a few days before December. DECEMBER. What the heck. December 2016. I seriously remember right where I was 20 years ago – wishing for Puma sneakers and some baby doll shirts for Christmas. (See this pic from Christmas Day, 1996? My dreams came true!) Where did the time go?

a19a.jpgOur family is doing Christmas much differently this year than we have in the past. We’re simplifying. Simplifying the gifts we give. Simplifying the decorations. Simplifying how we celebrate. I’m really looking forward to it!

In honor of the season, I am focusing on an essential oil that represents the birth of Jesus Christ. I cannot wait to show you how powerful this oil is- in both its effectiveness AND its symbolic meaning. I was truly blown away when I learned about the deep, spiritual meaning of Myrrh and why it was given to Jesus at His birth. I got SO choked up as I learned more and more. Even though the Wise Men most likely had no idea of the significance of their gifts, God did, and Myrrh was given to His son because it was a prophetic sign of things to come.

Grab a cuppa something warm, sit and rest for a moment and enjoy today’s Body, Mind and Spirit connection to: Myrrh.

Because of its versatility and effectiveness, Myrrh has been valuable across many cultures for centuries. With countless applications, Myrrh was used anciently for everything from medicine to religious purposes. Today, the resin extracted from the myrrh tree is transformed into an herbaceous, woody essential oil that still holds relevant applications. Whether you want to promote smooth, youthful-looking skin, promote emotional balance, or cleanse the body, Myrrh essential oil holds limitless uses for everyday life.

Myrrh Oil Uses and Benefits
  1. Add 1–2 drops of doTERRA’s Myrrh to ¼ cup of water with a little agave or honey to help ease the stomach.(Note: This information applies ONLY to doTERRA’s Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade essential oils. Do NOT ingest any others as they could be very harmful)
  2. Try on minor cuts, scrapes or burns, stings and other skin-surface irritations for soothing. Can blend into doTERRA’s Correct-X essential oil ointment as well to apply to skin problems.
  3. The soothing benefits of Myrrh essential oil are very useful when it comes to shmyrrh2-pngaving too- all kinds of places. If you don’t want to be left with irritated skin after shaving, try some DIY Razor Relief Serum (recipe below). Great for anyone who gets bumps in certain places…
  4. Myrrh essential oil is great when you want to uplift your mood or promote mental clarity or awareness. Myrrh is a popular oil to diffuse during the holidays, because it can help maintain peaceful feelings throughout the home.
  5. In addition to its benefits for the skin, Myrrh essential oil can be helpful when promoting healthy fingernails or toenails. If you have dry, crusty cuticles, try blending Myrrh with Vitamin E or coconut oil and massage in well, twice a day. This can also be used on the hands, lips, or any dry skin.
  6. Another beneficial property of Myrrh essential oil is that it promotes a youthful-looking complexion and offers a soothing sensation to the skin. To use Myrrh oil for skin, try adding one or two drops to your daily lotion or moisturizer. Apply on face and body. This mixture can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, particularly when used daily.
  7. Myrrh essential oil is well known for its ability to cleanse the mouth and throat. Daily, add one or two drops of Myrrh essential oil to your toothpaste when you want added cleansing benefits. For an effective mouth rinse, combine one drop of Myrrh oil and two ounces of water. Gargle this combination for 30 seconds to get extra clean. Great as a preventative too- keeping that mouth clean and sanitary and you’re less likely to … contract something.

Myrrh is mentioned 152 times in the Bible. In any form, it was costly because it only grows in specific locatimyrrh4 PNG.pngons, environments and conditions and it must be harvested in a specific manner.

Myrrh, similar to its cousin Frankincense, is a resin. It is the life-blood of the Commiphora myrrha tree and in order to access that blood, the tree must be repeatedly hacked at- stabbed and wounded, and made to bleed its resin.

The tree is heavily scarred from being repeatedly wounded and as the resin it bleeds begins to harden, it can then be collected and distilled into an essential oil.

The myrrh tree has a very distinctive, knotted trunk, is very thorny and doesn’t have many leaves because the tree exists in such a dry and harsh climate. Because of the abuse of its environment, the Myrrh tree often has an odd shape, very twisted as it grows amid the harsh winds and weather conditions.

myrrh6 PNG.pngDid you ever read a book or see a movie showing how people way back in …. well, olden times, would use ether to knock someone unconscious? Like a surgeon, for example. It’s actually the same (only safer) concept- ethers in CPTG essential oils are wonderful and effective for calming and rest. (To really knock a person out, however, you’d have to use very large and toxic doses- so don’t try it unless you’ve been thinking about catching some down time and state-funded calming and relaxation of your own-in the Big House on a murder rap.)

Myrrh essential oil is used today for many of same reasons it was used thousands of years ago- internal health, skin issues, cleansing, protection and rest. Scientifically speaking, the sesquiterpene ethers in Myrrh essential oil are known for their soothing properties, which is why Myrrh is useful for soothing the skin or soothing emotions.

Due to its highly aromatic nature, Myrrh has been used since ancient times for medicine, perfumery, incense, religious purposes, and burials. In Arabic, the world myrrh means “bitter.”

You know, I often wondered how the Wise Men, from the Far East, *extremely* far away, especially by camel, knew how to track Jesus down when He was born. They charted stars, yes. They studied prophecies, yet. But HOW did they know to do that? Traditional thought is that they had come from Persia. How could they have known or cared about some baby, born somewhere- enough to travel that far, packed with luxurious gifts to give?

Amagind then, one day, it hit me- the Book of Daniel! In the Bible, Daniel was written thousands of years before Jesus’ birth, during the time Israel had been taken into exile by the Medes and the Persians. We know Daniel had a position of *tremendous* influence as second-in-command to the king, and was willing to risk his life to worship God (remember the whole lions’ den debacle?)

Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego too- all four of these intelligent and educated young men had risked their lives to serve the Lord. And all were given positions among the prophets, dream tellers and magicians. It is clear now- thousands of years before Jesus’ birth, God had paved the way for Him. The Wise Men from the East knew to come because DANIEL had taught them from the Scriptures and Biblical prophecies that the Savior would be coming. W.O.A.H. If that doesn’t blow your mind… God had a plan- the whole time…

So, as for Myrrh- one of the gifts the Wise Men from the East brought to Jesus, the newborn King of whom they had heard from long ago- did you read about how Myrrh is harvested??

myrrh-png

Jesus Christ was born to die for the sins of the world. Isaiah, one of the prophets who foretold of Jesus’ death said this, My servant grew up in the Lord’s presence like a tender green shoot, like a root in dry ground… He was despised and rejected— a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care…But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed…But it was the Lord’s good plan to crush Him and cause him grief…[and] When he sees all that is accomplished by his anguish, Hemyrrh5 will be satisfied. And because of His experience,my righteous servant will make it possible for many to be counted righteous, for He will bear all their sins.” (Isaiah 53)

We know Jesus’ head was pierced with a crown of thorns. He was stabbed in His side where His blood flowed. He was repeatedly whipped and then nailed to the cross. And yet, it was His life-blood shed on the cross that has made way for our salvation and healing.

How deeply profound that, at His birth, Jesus was given Myrrh- from a tree made of thorns, that must be stabbed and wounded into its very core, to be made to bleed out its life-blood. Myrrh was also present at Jesus’s death and burial. Jesus was offered wine and myrrh before His crucifixion (Mark 15:23). Do you know why??

Remember that Myrrh’s chemistry is an ether- it was a drug, offered to Jesus as He suffered, to dull His pain- and He refused it. He refused to not feel every, single painful cut, lash, puncture, tear. His kept His mind clear and, in doing so, suffered greatly- for our sake.

Then, His body was wrapped in a 100-pound mixture of myrrh and aloes by Joseph of Arimathea. Argh. The symbolism and deliberate placement of Myrrh through Jesus’ life is almost overwhelming. God the Father knew what He was doing, all along! The Wise Men brought the young Jesus a gift that was prophetic of His suffering to come, of the harshness He would have to endure in His environment, of the pain it would take to shed His blood.

Isn’t that SO POWERFUL? I mean, look at the purpose that God infused into Jesus’ life- it was all for us, friends. And beautiful, strong, resilient Myrrh was the way that God used to show us He knew what He was doing.

Be blessed, friends!

Eucalyptus: Body, Mind and Spirit

I was sick a lot as a kid. A lot, a lot. I was skinny, pale, red-haired, freckled and always coming down with something. For real. I had scabies and head lice, constant bronchitis, pneumonia, and rashes galore, to pretty much everything. Add in the pale pink, super thick Golden Girls glasses and, well, hi.

3rd grade.JPGWhat I hated the most, though, besides the thick, pink penicillin tincture I’d have to drink that tasted like gritty bananas, was when my mother would fill her huge, yellow, Corningware mixing bowl with boiling hot water and force me to stick my face into it and take deep breaths. To add insult to injury, she’d throw a towel over my head so I couldn’t even look around and my glasses would fog up.

Thankfully I outgrew a lot of that nonsense, but guess what? I still have breathing issues from time to time- but no more huge, yellow Corningware mixing bowls for me, MOM!

So, yeah, doTERRA’s Eucalyptus essential oil has changed my life. Nothing funny about that. This little lovely supports clear breathing and open airways among other things.  SO MANY other things and I’m taking you there. RIGHT. NOW. Today’s body, mind and spirit connection is to: Eucalyptus.

The changing of the seasons can be a challenging time for the immune and respiratory systems, don’t ya know? At least it is at our house. (Well, used to be)

Oils with high amounts of the chemical component eucalyptol are highly effective in the respiratory system. In fact, Chinese scientists identified in preliminary tests that eucalyptol protected against immune system changes and respiratory challenges commonly associated with seasonal changes.

REMEMBER, now: In order for essential oils to be completely effective, they must be pure and potent. Too often, essential oils available for sale contain impurities and fillers (See more HERE). These unwanted substances weaken the power of an essential oil and can reduce its ability to satisfy individual needs. To ensure that all doTERRA essential oil products are effective, potent, and pure, doTERRA puts each batch of essential oils through the CPTG Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade® protocol. If it’s not CPTG do NOT put it on or in your body- but then, what the heck is the POINT?? There isn’t. Just go with doTERRA.

Eucalyptus7.jpg
Eucalyptus Oil Uses and Benefits
  1. Keep your surfaces clean and fingerprint free with the cleansing benefits of Eucalyptus oil all-purpose spray. RECIPE BELOW. This spray is perfect for a quick clean around the house and smells great!
  2. Make your shower experience even more relaxing. Place two drops Eucalyptus oil directly onto the shower floor while you are showering. The steam from the water will create a natural diffuser for the Eucalyptus oil, leaving you with a clear, invigorated feeling. You can do this with doTERRA’s Breathe too. It’s beautiful especially on days when you prefer to breathe clearly.
  3. For those days when you, or someone you want to love, has dog breath, do some swishing with water and 1-2 drops of Eucalyptus. It can help kill off all the ick that causes bad breath, not just the breath itself. Can also be useful in helping guard against many other common mouth issues. Swish. Gargle. Repeat as needed.
  4. Hey! Got skin? Don’t just settle for a run-of-the-mill lotion. Transform your moisturizer into a beneficial product for your skin and your senses. Add one drop of Eucalyptus essential oil to a moisturizer of your choice. Rub this mixture together and then apply it to your skin for revitalizing benefits. Great with Frankincense and Lavender too!
  5.  Next time you feel tension, place a few drops of Eucalyptus oil into your hands, cup your hands over your nose, and inhale deeply. This simple and quick process will give you a calming yet energizing boost. Took my kids to the children’s museum, so, yeah, this was me T.O.D.A.Y.
  6. koala.jpgI have a few friends who do massage for a living and they use doTERRA’s oils, especially Eucalyptus to create a soothing massage experience. Eucalyptus can be easily combined with a cream or lotion of your choice to help spread the effects of the oil while also bringing moisturizing benefits to your skin.  The chemical components found in Eucalyptus oil also produce a soothing, cooling vapor, which makes it an ideal oil for massage use.
  7. The aromatic benefits of Eucalyptus oil can be easily obtained when diffused. During the winter months or on a cold, dreary day, use Eucalyptus oil to invigorate, soothe, and uplift, not to mention respiratory support. Eucalyptus blends well with Thyme, Rosemary, Marjoram, Lavender, and Cedarwood essential oils for diffusion.  Let’s keep those airways (and minds) open!
  8. Yoga and meditation can both be calming activities that can help unify and revitalize your body. Part of what makes these activities so renewing is having time to clear the mind of unnecessary or cluttered thoughts. To help enhance your yoga or meditation experience, incorporate Eucalyptus oil into your practice, as it helps clear the mind.

If you are pregnant, nursing or under a doctor’s care, consult your physician. Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears, and sensitive areas, PLEASE. (geez.)

Fun facts: Eucalyptus trees are sometimes referred to as Gum Trees, chewed pretty much by just Koala. I, myself, do not chew. Also, commonly used to make didgeridoos, a wind instrument used by Aborigines.

Derived from the leaf of a tall evergreen tree, Eucalyptus oil offers many topical and aromatic benefits. Because the main chemical components of Eucalyptus oil are eucalyptol and alpha-terpineol, this essential oil has a soothing, cooling vapor.

Eucalyptus is a powerful, natural disinfectant that can be toxic in large quantities. Often you will see warnings to keep it away from children. Many cough suppressants (liquid, lozenges etc) cautious against use with children under 6. Why? Because Eucalyptus in raw form of any kind is extremely powerful. See this sweet, lil’ pun’kin? That’s my Emmeline. Babies like her don’t need something so strong. doTERRA has a lot of essential oil options if you’re concerned you might overuse or misunderstand Eucalyptus.Really, very young kids simply don’t need such force.

313181_10150374990728699_1127865459_nIt’s like… she’s crying for food and you hand her a piece of meat and a steak knife. Slow down, there, Momma. All in good time.

Eucalyptus’s main constituent is 1,8 cineole. If you look at the available data on this component, you find that daily use of properly applied essential oils are a safe and healthful practice for kids. (Of course, it is always a good safety practice to store essential oils out of reach of children anyway because those humans seriously lack self-control at times)

It can be applied topically or aromatically, but it is one of a few essential oils that is not recommended for internal use. DoTERRA’s Eucalyptus is *exceedingly* powerful because of its purity. Err on the side of caution and start small.

For adults, undiluted application is acceptable. As with any essential oil topical application, to preserve the lasting effects of the oil and prevent flash-off or volatilization, one should consider dilution with a carrier oil (e.g. Fractioned Coconut Oil, etc.). For children or those with sensitive skin, moderate to heavy dilution is recommended.eucalyptus2

The reports of serious adverse events associated with Eucalyptus oil in scientific literature have always involved excessively large (> 5mL) amounts taken internally or placed directly into the nose. That is pretty  much a third of a doTERRA bottle of Eucalyptus, chugged all at once. What the heck. Greedy.

Of course, these excessive amounts are well beyond the normal usage range. Nonetheless, eucalyptus oil, like all oils, should be used cautiously with younger children. Overwhelming the body with too much essential oil can sometimes lead to unwanted outcomes so, it’s important that you stay educated:

  • start small
  • dilute as you go
  • increase gradually
  • see how your own body responds
  • adjust as needed

SO. Now that you’re an expert on Eucalyptus, riddle me this: What part of the body is, like Eucalyptus essential oil, powerful and effective when used correctly, but can be toxic when misused, or in large doses? Answer: It’s the tongue. Yes, that piece of meat between your cheeks.

In James chapter 3, that tiny troublemaker is addressed thoroughly and it’s not pretty. Who of us hasn’t, at one time or another, misused the power of the tongue and, well, said something… something that should not have been said? Something we regretted or wished we could take back/change/reword/unsay?

Someone I love dearly once said to me, when I was a teenager: “Some people swing with an ax, but you cut with a scalpel.”

You know, I never forgot that? It’s always stuck with me and it’s something 1) I have never been proud of and 2) I have repeatedly submitted to the Lord to help me gain control over.

eu2.pngJames 3:2-10 says, Indeed, we all make many mistakes. For if we could control our tongues, we would be perfect and could also control ourselves in every other way. We can make a large horse go wherever we want by means of a small bit in its mouth. And a small rudder makes a huge ship turn wherever the pilot chooses to go, even though the winds are strong. In the same way, the tongue is a small thing that makes grand speeches. But a tiny spark can set a great forest on fire. And among all the parts of the body, the tongue is a flame of fire. It is a whole world of wickedness, corrupting your entire body. It can set your whole life on fire, for it is set on fire by hell itself. People can tame all kinds of animals, birds, reptiles, and fish, but no one can tame the tongue. It is restless and evil, full of deadly poison. Sometimes it praises our Lord and Father, and sometimes it curses those who have been made in the image of God. And so blessing and cursing come pouring out of the same mouth. Surely, my brothers and sisters, this is not right!”

Have you ever allowed your tongue set your WHOLE LIFE on fire? Oh, I HAVE. Powerful and effective when used correctly, the tongue is. Words that can bring life, uplift and encourage, build up, restore, educate, praise. But, toxic when misused- oh yes. Words can literally kill. This is WAY too chunky of a subject to tackle here, but let me encourage you- if your heart is filled with the Word of God, your mouth will be filled with His words also- and His words are always life-giving. THAT is where the real power lay.

The Bible is FULL of wisdom concerning the tongue and what it speaks because the mouth betrays the content of the heart (Luke 6:45), and while we look on the outward appearance, the Lord perceives the inward heart of us all (1 Samuel 16:7).eu1

Proverbs 10:32, “The lips of the godly speak helpful words…”

Proverbs 15:28, “The heart of the godly thinks carefully before speaking…”

Ephesians 4:29, “Let no unwholesome word proceed out of your mouth, but only that which is good for building up, that it may give grace to the listeners.”

Psalm 19:41, “Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.”

And, finally, here’s this: “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” (Proverbs 18:21) –> If you’ve ever killed someone’s spirit with your words, welcome to the club. Thankfully, God is full of compassion, slow to anger and rich in love (Psalm 145:8)- and we need to be the same way toward others.psalm

Fill your mouth with the words of God, and you’ll never have to worry about what you’llsay. Your words will always bring life. King David wrote, “I will bless the Lord at all times, His praise will continually be in my mouth.” (Psalm 34:1)

It won’t happen overnight and it won’t be easy, especially if you’re like me and words are your thing. But the Word of God can be trusted. Fill your heart with His Words and your mouth will speak them.

Be blessed, friends!
